The Heavy Duty Tall Tripod is supplied with a Mitchell top plate as standard, with a 150mm bowl available on request. This Ronford-Baker tripod weighs 10kg (22lb) and is 167.6cm (5’6”) when fully extended – 91.4cm closed, and 45.7cm with legs spread.
This Ronford-Baker tripod comes with an infinitely adjustable spreader with a strong elastic clip-down device, which is secured in seconds. Made from high tensile anodized aluminium, the tripod has large diameter locking hand-wheels to adjust length of spread. As on the tripod, all steel parts are hardened and heavily chromium plated.
A Baby Tripod version is also available, with a height range from 50.8cm (1’8”) to 91.4cm (3’) and a weight of 8kg (18lb).
