Established in 2010, CHIOPT owns two major R&D and manufacturing bases in Changsha and Guangzhou. Spanning a total area of 42.3 acres, these facilities operate a complete industrial chain from R&D design customisation and lens precision machining to lens assembly. Its products are sold in more than 50 countries and regions, serving more than 500 enterprises globally.
As of 2020, the company holds more than 200 independent intellectual property patents and more than 20 invention patents. Its proprietary advanced MTF test equipment meets the requirements of high-end lens testing, enabling clients to complete various tests, evaluations and experiments. CHIOPT is also the industry standard initiation and formulation unit of the China Machine Vision Industry Alliance, and has jointly established ultra-precision optical manufacturing R&D centres with a number of universities including Hunan University.
The company’s product line covers more than ten categories, including standard area scan lenses, precision line scan lenses, telecentric measurement lenses, large target lenses, macro lenses, autofocus lenses, security monitoring lenses, short-wave near-infrared lenses and other special lenses. These products equip the industry for industrial automation and enterprise informatisation, promoting the development of Industry 4.0.
