The renowned Angénieux Optimo quality is now available in anamorphic format. The optical design weaves in cylindrical and spherical optical elements in the rear group. This unique design technique yields significantly superior optical performance over the lenses that are simply equipped with rear anamorphic attachment. Both the 56-152mm and 30-72mm 2S lenses offer anamorphic zoom with 2x squeeze and a fast aperture of T4 with no ramping. Their superior optical performance delivers image flatness and low distortion for exceptional quality.
